The Central Private Redhawks routed the host St. Michael Warriors softball squad by a count of 18-3 in Wednesday's non-league battle.

The Redhawks (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Northlake Christian (Covington, LA). The Wolverines go into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Northlake Christian was routed by Pope John Paul II (Slidell, LA), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Warriors now sport a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Episcopal for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 2. St. Michael will meet a Knights squad coming off a 22-1 non-league win over Tara (Baton Rouge, LA). The Knights record now stands at 1-0.
