Notre Dame Pioneers (Crowley, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Loreauville Tigers (Loreauville, LA), 9-7 in a non-league challenge.

The Pioneers now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jennings for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 6. Notre Dame will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 12-0 non-league win over Grand Lake (Lake Charles, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-0.

With the loss, Loreauville falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Port Barre (Port Barre, LA) to battle the Red Devils in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 3. The Red Devils enter the challenge with a record of 2-5.
