Texas High School Baseball - Longview loses to Ashdown

In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Ashdown Panthers baseball team scored a tight 7-1 victory over the Longview Lobos.

The Panthers (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Magnolia (Magnolia, AR). The Panthers go into the 4A Region 7 game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, Magnolia tipped Redwater (Redwater, TX), 9-1, in a non-league contest.

The Lobos now sport a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Hooks for a non-league contest on Saturday, March 2. Longview will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Ashdown (Ashdown, AR). The Hornets record now stands at 3-4.
