The Beau Chene Gators baseball team scored 6 runs and limited the visiting Lafayette Lions to 1 in the Gators non-league victory on Friday.
The Gators (5-1) will now prepare for their match against Port Barre (Port Barre, LA). The Red Devils go into the non-league match with a 1-6 record. In their last match, Port Barre edged Breaux Bridge (Breaux Bridge, LA), 3-1, in a non-league match.
The Lions (2-5) will now prepare for their match against Lafayette Christian Academy (Lafayette, LA). The Knights go into the non-league match with a 4-4 record.
