The Centennial Spartans baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Pflugerville Connally Cougars to 1 in the Spartans non-league victory on Friday.

The Spartans (5-3) will now prepare for their match against Westlake (Austin, TX). The Chaparrals go into the non-league match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Westlake Weiss (Pflugerville, TX), 5-5, in a non-league challenge.

With the defeat, Pflugerville Connally falls to 3-5 on the season. The Cougars travel to Troy (Troy, TX) to battle the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 7. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 3-0. Troy won 10-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Shoemaker (Killeen, TX)
