In Friday's non-league game, the visiting St. Edmund Fighting Blue Jays baseball team scored a tight 10-5 victory over the Crowley Gent.
The Fighting Blue Jays (5-2) will now prepare for their battle against Jennings (Jennings, LA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Jennings was overwhelmed by Notre Dame (Crowley, LA), 3-2, in a non-league game.
The Gent (1-6) will now prepare for their game against Westgate (New Iberia, LA). The Tigers go into the non-league game with a 1-7 record.
