The Karnes City Badgers baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Gonzales Apaches to 1 in the Badgers non-league victory on Friday.
The Badgers (7-1) will now prepare for their match against Falls City (Falls City, TX). The Beavers go into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Falls City ran past Yorktown (Yorktown, TX), 13-8, in a non-league match.
The Apaches (3-6) will now prepare for their match against Cedar Creek (Cedar Creek, TX). The Eagles go into the non-league match with a 7-3 record.
