In Friday's non-league game, the visiting San Diego Vaqueros baseball team scored a nice 10-1 victory over the John Paul II Centurions.
The Vaqueros (3-6) will now prepare for their game against Skidmore-Tynan (Skidmore, TX). The Bobcats go into the non-league game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Skidmore-Tynan was overwhelmed by Odem (Odem, TX), 10-3, in a non-league game.
The Centurions (0-5) will now prepare for their game against Robstown (Robstown, TX). The Cottonpickers go into the non-league game with a 4-5 record. In their last game, Robstown ran past United (Laredo, TX), 10-2, in a non-league game.
