The Freedom Patriots basketball team (Morganton, NC), dropped 75-59 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Piedmont Panthers (Monroe, NC)

The Panthers now possess a 20-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hickory for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 5. Piedmont will battle a Red Tornadoes team coming off a 88-46 non-league win over North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Red Tornadoes record now stands at 29-0.
