In Friday's non-league outing, the Midland Christian Mustangs (Midland, TX) basketball squad edged the visiting St. Michael's Crusaders (Austin, TX), by a margin of 57-53.

The Mustangs (32-6) will now prepare for their outing against The Woodlands Christian Academy (The Woodlands, TX). The Warriors go into the non-league outing with a 27-7 record. In their last outing, The Woodlands Christian Academy held off Second Baptist (Houston, TX), 53-52, in a non-league outing.

The Crusaders now own a 34-2 record.
