North Carolina High School Basketball - Alexander Central topples McDowell

In Friday's non-league outing, the Alexander Central Cougars (Taylorsville, NC) basketball squad beat the host McDowell Titans (Marion, NC), by a margin of 41-33.

The Cougars (22-6) will now prepare for their outing against Lake Norman (Mooresville, NC). The Wildcats go into the non-league outing with a 25-2 record. In their last outing, Lake Norman defeated R.J. Reynolds (Winston-Salem, NC), 72-46, in a non-league outing.
