The Fort Myers Green Wave lacrosse team scored 9 points and held the visiting Lely Trojans to 5 in the Green Wave non-league win on Friday.
The Green Wave (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Riverdale (Fort Myers, FL). The Raiders go into the non-league match with a 0-4 record. In their last match, Riverdale was overwhelmed by Cypress Lake (Fort Myers, FL), 11-10, in a non-league match.
The Trojans (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Gulf Coast (Naples, FL). The Sharks go into the 1A D12 match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Gulf Coast nudged Oviedo (Oviedo, FL), 5-4, in a non-league match.
