Providence Day Chargers (Charlotte, NC) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the visiting Marvin Ridge Mavericks (Waxhaw, NC), 5-2 in a non-league battle.

The Chargers now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Myers Park for a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 19.

In their next game, the Mavericks clash with the Nation Ford Falcons (Fort Mill, SC) in a non-league battle, on Monday, March 4. Marvin Ridge will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Falcons come into the battle with a 1-2 record after their 3-1 league win over Blythewood (Blythewood, SC).
