Vista del Lago Ravens (Moreno Valley, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host West Valley Mustangs (Hemet, CA), 14-7 in a non-league challenge.

The Ravens now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Moreno Valley for a challenge on Friday, March 8. Vista del Lago will battle a Vikings squad coming off a 23-9 non-league loss to Arroyo Valley (San Bernardino, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, West Valley falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Perris (Perris, CA) to battle the Panthers in a challenge on Thursday, March 21. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 1-0.
