The American Heritage Patriots lacrosse team scored 11 points and held the host Cardinal Newman Crusaders to 6 in the Patriots non-league win on Friday.
The Patriots (3-3) will now prepare for their game against Cardinal Gibbons (Fort Lauderdale, FL). The Chiefs go into the 1A D14 game with a 2-3 record. In their last game, Cardinal Gibbons nudged Cypress Bay (Weston, FL), 20-7, in a non-league game.
The Crusaders (4-4) will now prepare for their game against St. John Paul II Academy (Boca Raton, FL). The Eagles go into the 1A D13 game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, St. John Paul II Academy was overwhelmed by Jupiter (Jupiter, FL), 12-11, in a non-league game.
