North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Apex can't get by Broughton

March 1, 2024: Raleigh, NC 27605

In Friday's non-league test, the host Broughton Capitals lacrosse squad scored a tight 7-6 victory over the Apex Cougars.

The Capitals now have a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Jordan for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 5. Broughton will face a Falcons squad coming off a 10-8 non-league loss to Heritage (Wake Forest, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 0-1.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Green Level Gators (Cary, NC) in a Southwest Wake test, on Monday, March 4. Apex will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Gators come into the test with a 1-0 record after their 17-4 non-league win over Willow Spring (Fuquay-Varina, NC).
