Brooks County Trojans (Quitman, GA) supporters were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Westover Patriots (Albany, GA), 9-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Trojans confront the Irwin County Indians (Ocilla, GA) in a 1A D-I Area 1 challenge, on Tuesday, March 5. Brooks County will attempt to move on its 6-0 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 5-2 non-league win over Turner County (Ashburn, GA).

The Patriots now possess a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cairo for a 4A Area 1 challenge on Tuesday, March 5. Westover will confront a Syrupmakers team coming off a 3-1 league win over Shaw (Columbus, GA). The Syrupmakers record now stands at 4-2.
