In Friday's non-league contest, the Agua Fria Owls (Avondale, AZ) softball team overwhelmed the host Coronado Dons (Scottsdale, AZ), by a margin of 27-0.

With the triumph, Agua Fria moves its record to 1-4 on the year. The Owls travel to Flagstaff (Flagstaff, AZ) to play the Eagles in a non-league contest on Monday, March 4.
