California High School Softball - Aquinas bounces Palo Verde Valley

The Aquinas Falcons routed the visiting Palo Verde Valley Yellow Jackets softball squad by a count of 14-2 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Falcons (9-0) will now prepare for their battle against Legacy (North Las Vegas, NV). The Longhorns go into the non-league battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Legacy topped Cimarron-Memorial (Las Vegas, NV), 7-6, in a non-league battle.

The Yellow Jackets now sport a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Cimarron-Memorial for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 2. Palo Verde Valley will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 7-6 non-league loss to Legacy (North Las Vegas, NV). The Spartans record now stands at 1-2.
