In Friday's non-league contest, the Boswell Pioneers (Fort Worth, TX) softball team overwhelmed the host Argyle Eagles (Argyle, TX), by a margin of 6-1.

With the triumph, Boswell moves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Pioneers travel to Trinity (Euless, TX) to play the Trojans in a 6A Region I District 3 contest on Friday, March 22. The Trojans come into the contest with a record of 7-8.

In their next game, the Eagles play the Mansfield Tigers (Mansfield, TX) in a non-league contest, on Friday, March 1. Argyle will attempt to move on its 7-9 season record. The Tigers come into the contest with a 1-9 record after their 11-5 non-league loss to Colleyville Heritage (Colleyville, TX).
