Blue Ridge Tigers (Blue Ridge, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Callisburg Wildcats (Gainesville, TX), 10-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers now own a 10-1 record. They take the field next when they host Rio Vista for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 1. Blue Ridge will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 13-1 non-league win over Lake Worth (Lake Worth, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, Callisburg falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Wildcats host S & S Consolidated (Sadler, TX) to battle the Rams in a 3A Region II District 10 challenge on Tuesday, March 19. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 13-4.
