Texas High School Softball - Blue Ridge bounces Rio Vista

The Blue Ridge Tigers routed the visiting Rio Vista Eagles softball squad by a final score of 11-1 in Friday's non-league battle.

The Tigers (10-1) will now prepare for their battle against Dodd City (Dodd City, TX). The Hornets go into the non-league battle with a 0-1 record. In their last battle, Dodd City Celeste (Celeste, TX), 6-6, in a non-league battle.

The Eagles now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lone Oak for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 2. Rio Vista will meet a Buffaloes squad coming off a 2-2 non-league Tioga (Tioga, TX). The Buffaloes record now stands at 6-7.
