Brenham Cubs (Brenham, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Midland Legacy Rebels (Midland, TX), 10-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Cubs now own a 11-6 record. They take the field next when they host Klein Forest for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 2. Brenham will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 11-0 non-league loss to Forney (Forney, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 3-9.

With the loss, Midland Legacy falls to 6-5 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Shadow Creek (Pearland, TX) to battle the Sharks in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 2. The Sharks enter the challenge with a record of 3-10.
