The Lake Havasu Knights softball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Casa Grande Cougars to 6 in the Knights non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Lake Havasu improves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Knights travel to Lee Williams (Kingman, AZ) to clash with the Volunteers in a non-league game on Saturday, March 2. The Volunteers come into the game with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the Cougars clash with the Chaparral Firebirds (Scottsdale, AZ) in a non-league game, on Monday, March 4. Casa Grande will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Firebirds come into the game with a 4-3 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Willow Canyon (Surprise, AZ).
