Texas High School Softball - Coppell can't hold off Ford

The Ford Panthers softball team scored 4 runs and limited the visiting Coppell Cowboys to 3 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Ford improves its record to 12-3 on the year. The Panthers travel to Commerce (Commerce, TX) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league game on Friday, March 1. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 6-8. Commerce won 24-3 in their recent non-league game against Gainesville (Gainesville, TX)

In their next game, the Cowboys clash with the Quitman Bulldogs (Quitman, TX) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 2. Coppell will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 6-2 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Commerce (Commerce, TX).
