Copperas Cove Bulldawgs (Copperas Cove, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Lampasas Badgers (Lampasas, TX), 14-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldawgs now own a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Midway for a 6A Region II District 12 game on Monday, March 4. Copperas Cove will clash with a Panthers team coming off a 14-2 non-league win over Northwest (Justin, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 11-4.

In their next game, the Badgers clash with the Rouse Raiders (Leander, TX) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 1. Lampasas will attempt to move on its 5-5 season record. The Raiders come into the game with a 3-8 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Georgetown (Georgetown, TX).
