East Poinsett County Warriors (Lepanto, AR) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host West Memphis Blue Devils (West Memphis, AR), 9-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Warriors now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marmaduke for a 2A Region 3 challenge on Monday, March 4.

With the loss, West Memphis falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Buffalo Island Central (Monette, AR) to battle the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 5. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a record of 0-1. Buffalo Island Central lost 5-4 in their recent league challenge against Rector (Rector, AR)
