El Diamante Miners (Visalia, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host North Stars (Bakersfield, CA), 13-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Miners now own a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Foothill for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 1. El Diamante will battle a Trojans squad coming off a 14-2 non-league loss to Kern Valley (Lake Isabella, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, North falls to 2-7 on the campaign. The Stars travel to Garces Memorial (Bakersfield, CA) to battle the Rams in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 6. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 0-2.
