Forrest City Mustangs (Forrest City, AR) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Pine Bluff Zebras (Pine Bluff, AR), 34-33 in a non-league challenge.

The Mustangs now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Central for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 4. Forrest City will face a Tigers squad coming off a 21-19 non-league win over Robinson (Little Rock, AR). The Tigers record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Pine Bluff falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Zebras travel to El Dorado (El Dorado, AR) to face the Wildcats in a 5A South challenge on Tuesday, March 5. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 0-2.
