The La Grange Leopards softball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Roma Gladiators to 1 in the Leopards non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, La Grange moves its record to 3-7 on the year. The Leopards travel to United South (Laredo, TX) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league game on Saturday, March 2. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 6-8. United South lost 5-3 in their recent non-league game against Del Valle (Del Valle, TX)

In their next game, the Gladiators clash with the Seguin Matadors (Seguin, TX) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 2. Roma will attempt to move on its 6-7 season record. The Matadors come into the game with a 10-5 record after their 7-3 non-league loss to Weslaco (Weslaco, TX).
