La Grange Leopards (La Grange, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Uvalde Coyotes/Lobos (for girls) (Uvalde, TX), 11-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Leopards now own a 3-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Roma for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 1. La Grange will battle a Gladiators squad coming off a 15-3 non-league win over Nixon-Smiley (Nixon, TX). The Gladiators record now stands at 6-5.

With the loss, Uvalde falls to 7-9 on the campaign. The Coyotes/lobos (for girls) travel to Harlingen (Harlingen, TX) to battle the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 1. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a record of 9-5. Harlingen lost 6-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Del Valle (Del Valle, TX)
