The Northside Rams softball team scored 14 runs and limited the host University Charter Trail Blazers to 4 in the Rams non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Northside moves its record to 6-7 on the year. The Rams host Northridge (Tuscaloosa, AL) to face the Jaguars in a non-league match on Friday, March 1. The Jaguars enter the match with a record of 2-8. Northridge lost 16-7 in their recent non-league match against Hale County (Moundville, AL)

With the loss, University Charter falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Trail blazers travel to South Lamar (Millport, AL) to face the Stallions in a 1A Area 8 match on Monday, March 4. The Stallions enter the match with a record of 1-1. South Lamar lost 15-14 in their recent non-league match against Marion County (Guin, AL)
