Randall Raiders (Amarillo, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Windthorst Trojans (Windthorst, TX), 7-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Raiders now own a 9-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Archer City for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 2. Randall will battle a Wildcats squad coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Breckenridge (Breckenridge, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-4.

With the loss, Windthorst falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Perrin-Whitt (Perrin, TX) to battle the Pirates in a 2A Region II District 9 challenge on Tuesday, March 19. The Pirates enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
