West Trojans (West, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Red Oak Hawks (Red Oak, TX), 9-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Highland Park for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 2. West will face a Scots squad coming off a 22-1 non-league loss to Ennis (Ennis, TX). The Scots record now stands at 4-10.

With the loss, Red Oak falls to 7-5 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Robinson (Robinson, TX) to face the Rockets in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 2. The Rockets enter the challenge with a record of 16-3. Robinson lost 7-0 in their recent non-league challenge against South Grand Prairie (Grand Prairie, TX)
