The Airport Eagles (West Columbia, SC) baseball got by the visiting Strom Thurmond Rebels (Johnston, SC), 3-2 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Eagles now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fox Creek for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 4. Airport will clash with a Predators team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Summerville (Summerville, SC). The Predators record now stands at 1-1.
With the defeat, Strom Thurmond drops to 0-2 on the year. The Rebels host Fox Creek (North Augusta, SC) to clash with the Predators in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 7. The Predators go into the challenge with a record of 1-1.
