The Eagles now own a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they host Ragland for a 1A Area 11 test on Tuesday, March 4. Appalachian will clash with a Purple Devils team coming off a 22-0 non-league loss to Altamont (Birmingham, AL). The Purple Devils record now stands at 2-3.

With the defeat, Skyline drops to 0-1 on the year. The Vikings host Columbia (Huntsville, AL) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 4. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 2-4. Columbia won 10-5 in their recent non-league test against Woodville (Woodville, AL)
