Georgia High School Baseball - Benedictine edges Pike County

The crowd at Saturday's non-league battle between the Benedictine Cadets (Savannah, GA) and the host Pike County Pirates (Zebulon, GA), saw Benedictine's baseball team beat Pike County by a margin of 8-5.

The Cadets (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Southeast Bulloch (Brooklet, GA). The Yellow Jackets enter the non-league battle with a 3-4 record. In their last battle, Southeast Bulloch by Pierce County (Blackshear, GA), 11-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Pirates face the Troup County Tigers (LaGrange, GA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, March 4. Pike County will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 4-5 record after their 7-2 non-league loss to Tattnall Square Academy (Macon, GA).
