In Saturday's non-league bout, the Brownfield Cubs (Brownfield, TX) baseball squad the host Roosevelt Eagles (Lubbock, TX), by a score of 7-4.
Next up, the Cubs encounter the Fort Stockton Panthers (Fort Stockton, TX) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, March 1. Brownfield will attempt to advance on its 5-5 season record. The Panthers enter the bout with a 5-3 record after their 9-5 non-league loss to Tascosa (Amarillo, TX).
