In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Copperas Cove Bulldawgs baseball team scored a close 12-9 win over the Burnet Bulldogs.
The Bulldawgs (2-3) will now prepare for their game against Andrews (Andrews, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league game with a 10-4 record. In their last game, Andrews by West Plains (Amarillo, TX), 4-0, in a non-league game.
Next, the Bulldogs play the Killeen Kangaroos (Killeen, TX) in a non-league game, on Thursday, March 6. Burnet will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Kangaroos go into the game with a 2-5 record after their 10-4 non-league loss to Bartlett (Bartlett, TX).
