North Carolina High School Baseball - Topsail defeats Cleveland

March 1, 2025: Hampstead, NC 28443

The Topsail Pirates (Hampstead, NC) baseball trounced the visiting Cleveland Rams (Clayton, NC), 12-6 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Pirates now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Whiteville for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 4. Topsail will clash with a Wolfpack team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over New Hanover (Wilmington, NC). The Wolfpack record now stands at 2-0.

With the defeat, Cleveland drops to 1-2 on the year. The Rams travel to South Johnston (Four Oaks, NC) to clash with the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 5. The Trojans go into the challenge with a record of 1-1.
