The Cordova Blue Devils baseball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting West Point Warriors to 3 in the Blue Devils non-league win on Saturday.
The Blue Devils now own a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Carbon Hill for a non-league test on Monday, March 3. Cordova will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 10-4 non-league loss to Hubbertville (Fayette, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-5.
With the defeat, West Point drops to 4-5 on the year. The Warriors host Arab (Arab, AL) to clash with the Knights in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 4. The Knights go into the test with a record of 3-8. Arab lost 7-5 in their recent non-league test against Lawrence County (Moulton, AL)
