In Saturday's non-league game, the host Northern Guilford Nighthawks baseball team scored a close 5-4 victory over the East Davidson Golden Eagles.
The Nighthawks (3-0) will now prepare for their game against Ragsdale (Jamestown, NC). The Tigers enter the Metro 4A game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Ragsdale was tipped by Millbrook (Raleigh, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
Next, the Golden Eagles face the Ledford Panthers (Thomasville, NC) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, March 4. East Davidson will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 1-1 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to East Forsyth (Kernersville, NC).
