The Wayne Academy Jaguars (Waynesboro, MS) baseball trounced the visiting Edgewood Academy Wildcats (Elmore, AL), 8-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Jaguars now own a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Stringer for a non-league test on Friday, March 7.

With the defeat, Edgewood Academy drops to 7-2 on the year. The Wildcats host Ezekiel Academy (Montgomery, AL) to play the Knights in a non-league test on Monday, March 3. The Knights go into the test with a record of 0-7. Ezekiel Academy lost 12-1 in their recent non-league test against Patrician Academy (Butler, AL)
