In Saturday's non-league game, the host Ripley Tigers baseball team scored a nice 22-0 win over the Hickory Flat Rebels.

The Tigers (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Amory (Amory, MS). The Panthers go into the 4A Region 1 game with a 6-1 record. In their last game, Amory knocked off Caledonia (Caledonia, MS), 10-4, in a non-league game.

Next, the Rebels play the Pine Grove Panthers (Ripley, MS) in a non-league game, on Monday, March 3. Hickory Flat will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record.
