The Palestine Wildcats (Palestine, TX) baseball trounced the visiting Holmes Huskies (San Antonio, TX), 8-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shoemaker for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 6. Palestine will clash with a Wolves team coming off a 17-13 non-league win over Ellison (Killeen, TX). The Wolves record now stands at 4-3.

With the defeat, Holmes drops to 1-8 on the year. The Huskies travel to Taft (San Antonio, TX) to clash with the Raiders in a 6A Region IV District 29 challenge on Tuesday, March 4. The Raiders go into the challenge with a record of 3-5. Taft lost 11-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Almeta Crawford (Rosharon, TX)
