The Mize Bulldogs baseball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting Magee Trojans to 1 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Saturday.

The Bulldogs now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Raleigh for a non-league test on Monday, March 3. Mize will play a Lions team coming off a 11-1 non-league loss to Northeast Jones (Laurel, MS). The Lions record now stands at 2-4.

With the defeat, Magee drops to 4-4 on the year. The Trojans host Sylva Bay Academy (Bay Springs, MS) to play the Saints in a non-league test on Saturday, March 1. The Saints go into the test with a record of 3-2. Sylva Bay Academy won 8-7 in their recent non-league test against East Rankin Academy (Pelahatchie, MS)
