In Saturday's non-league game, the host Northside Rams baseball team scored a close 7-6 win over the Northridge Jaguars.

The Rams (5-1) will now prepare for their game against Fayette County (Fayette, AL). The Tigers go into the non-league game with a 2-9 record. In their last game, Fayette County was tipped by Winfield (Winfield, AL), 5-3, in a non-league game.

Next, the Jaguars play the Tuscaloosa County Wildcats (Northport, AL) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 1. Northridge will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Wildcats go into the game with a 6-3 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Bibb County (Centreville, AL).
