Spectators at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Southside Sharks (Youngsville, LA) and the visiting Ouachita Christian Eagles (Monroe, LA), witnessed Southside's baseball team knock off Ouachita Christian by a count of 10-4.

The Sharks now own a 8-3 record. They take the field next when they host Highland Baptist Christian for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 3.

With the defeat, Ouachita Christian drops to 6-7 on the year. The Eagles travel to West Feliciana (St. Francisville, LA) to clash with the Saints in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 1. The Saints go into the challenge with a record of 7-4. West Feliciana lost 4-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Notre Dame (Crowley, LA)
