In Saturday's non-league game, the host South Beauregard Knights baseball team scored a close 7-5 win over the Pitkin Tigers.
The Knights (7-3) will now prepare for their game against DeQuincy (DeQuincy, LA). The Tigers go into the non-league game with a 8-6 record. In their last game, DeQuincy by Iowa (Iowa, LA), 11-1, in a non-league game.
Next, the Tigers play the Rosepine Eagles (Rosepine, LA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, March 1. Pitkin will attempt to improve on its 3-2 season record. The Eagles go into the game with a 6-4 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Kinder (Kinder, LA).
