In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Garfield Bulldogs basketball team scored a good 70-57 win over the Lincoln Abes.

The Bulldogs (19-8) will now prepare for their contest against Eastside Catholic (Sammamish, WA). The Crusaders come into the 3A Metro contest with a 14-15 record. In their last contest, Eastside Catholic defeated Prairie (Vancouver, WA), 52-50, in a non-league contest.
